Galloway-Sands Pharmacy provides prescription delivery service! We know that sometimes you just can’t make it into the store to pick up your medications, which is why we are here to help and make getting the prescriptions that you need as easy as possible. Please contact us and let us know if you need us to deliver your medications to your doorstep.
WHERE DO WE DELIVER?
Our delivery program will service the Southport, Supply, and surrounding areas (i.e. Boiling Spring Lakes, Bolivia, etc.) Please contact us to determine if you live within our delivery range.
HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?
*Due to COVID-19 we are waiving all delivery fees until further notice!*
We offer one (1) FREE delivery a month for patients enrolled in our MedSync program. Any additional delivery and any delivery for non-enrolled MedSync patients will be a $5 delivery fee. Please contact us for more information on how to enroll in our MedSync program, allowing all your prescriptions to be filled on the same day each month.
Over-the-counter items may accompany any prescription delivery as needed but if a customer is requesting ONLY over-the-counter items for delivery, the total must be greater than $15 and the $5 delivery fee may be applied.
WHEN WILL I GET MY DELIVERY?
We deliver Monday - Friday (excluding holidays). We require at least a 24 hour notice for delivery request to allow us adequate time to process, prepare, and deliver your medications. Our driver will deliver your order the following scheduled delivery day, within our business hours of 9 am-6 pm.
Same day delivery is only available in limited, emergency circumstances and is not guaranteed. If you need same day delivery a $5 delivery fee may be applied.
WHAT CAN BE DELIVERED?
We can deliver your prescriptions and any over the counter item we have in the store.
*Due to Medicare guidelines, we are unable to deliver diabetic testing supplies. If you are a Medicare patient, these supplies must be picked up and signed for in the store.
IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION
The customer MUST be home in order for a prescription delivery to be completed. If a customer is not home for a requested delivery the delivery driver will bring the prescription back to the pharmacy at the end of his/her route and will be available for the customer or authorized representative to pick up. If you prefer to have a second delivery attempt made, you will need to call the pharmacy and a second $5 delivery fee may be applied. Galloway-Sands Pharmacy will not attempt a third delivery. If the second delivery is not completed the prescription will remain at the pharmacy to be picked up.

The customer or authorized representative MUST be present to sign a “proof of delivery” handheld electronic unit or back-up paper manifest to indicate receipt of delivery. A prescription delivery cannot be left without obtaining a signature.
